When seniors exercise on a regular basis, it can boost energy, assist in maintaining an independent lifestyle, and manage symptoms of illness or pain. When you exercise, it can even reverse some of the symptoms of aging… Not only is exercising good for your body, it is good for your mind. It can put you in a better mood and enhance memory.

Senior Fitness Classes
Strength & Balance (Zumba Gold Toning) Active older adults use light weights to strength and tone the body and balance exercises to aid in the prevention of falls. Work the hips, back, arms and shoulder. 45-minute class.
Chair Aerobics Soft cardio movements performed in a chair working your upper and lower body extremities. Class includes working with bands and hand weights. 30-minute class.
Zumba Gold For active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba® class that
recreates the original Zumba moves at a lower-intensity. coordination while dancing and
having fun. 45-minute class.
Cardio Drumming full-body exercise that combines light resistance, cardio and
drumming— can do the class standing of seated. 45-minute class.
Chair Yoga twisting poses help with lower back pain and aid digestion and circulation. They are often called “detox” poses.
